470

Olympic dinghy designed by French naval architect André Cornu in 1963.

Round hull boat for a 2-person crew with an ideal weight of 120-145 kg, rigged with mainsail, jib, spinnaker, and trapeze.

Excellent for competitive sailing for young people and adults after their training period on the Vaurien and 420.

Our 470

In 2004, it was decided to undertake a challenge in the Olympic classes. This led to the first 470 Faccenda hull, which would later undergo various modifications to the mold and fitting over the years, thanks to collaboration with both experienced and emerging sailors.

Built with latest generation resins and fabrics, it is stiff, resistant, and fast in all conditions.

THE FACCENDA EXPERIENCE

In 2004, the Faccenda shipyard decided to offer its experience in Olympic classes as well, creating the first Faccenda 470.

Since then, the project has been continuously refined through collaboration with experienced sailors, young competitors, and high-level technicians. Every evolution of the hull and fitting comes directly from experience gained on race courses, with the goal of producing an ever faster, more balanced, and competitive dinghy.
